Morning Duties

Asses:-

When approaching the chicken coop assess the coop and surrounding area to ensure there are no signs of predators trying to break into the chicken coop. Ensure the chicken coop if free from any damage.

Release:-

Let the chickens out of the coop and into the chicken run.  Make sure that all of your chickens are are lively and alert.  

Any chickens that remain in the coop will need checking to ensure that they are not sick.


Supply:-

Ensure that your chickens have plenty of fresh water for the day ahead and ensure there is sufficient fresh food.  

Replace any greens with new ones and ensure there is sufficient grit in the containers.


Freshen:-

Replace your chickens bedding with fresh bedding.


Clean:-
Collect any eggs and clean out any droppings in the nest boxes.
Check:-
Conduct a final check to ensure that your chickens are eating, drinking and alert.
