Pasture Chicken Feed

Free range chickens can supplement their diet through grazing on the pasture.  Pasture alone however does to provide a sufficient level of nutrients for your chickens and pasture should be combined with a second source of feed.

Pasture can be an economical approach for feeding your chickens, especially when done in conjunction with growing your own grain within an individually mixed chicken feed.

It is highly recommended (especially for beginner chicken keepers) to use a commercial chicken feed.
Commercial chicken feeds ensure that your chickens are not fed any dangerous ingredients which would otherwise be left to the chicken keeper. More Chicken Feed
